Your step-by-step guide to build a terrarium:

Materials You’ll Need: Glass jar, pebbles or gravel, potting soil, Plants (succulents, moss, ferns, air plants), Decorative elements (rocks, wood), Spray bottle or small watering can and a handy cutting mat.

1. Choose Your Container

Pick a clear container with an open or closed top, depending on the plants:

• Open terrariums: Best for succulents and cacti (dry environment). Our Scandi Jars are perfect for this.

• Closed terrariums: Ideal for ferns, moss, and tropical plants (humid environment). Wire or Cork jars work very well.
